Haircare Tip 5: Eat Fish


Hey Everyone!

Today’s haircare tip is, eating Omega-3 rich foods is highly good for healthy hair. Fish have high content of omega-3 and it supplies very good amount of it to our body. And if you don’t eat/like fish (like me) then you can go for flaxseed, nuts and other foods rich in omega-3.

  2. It's only ''oily'' fish that are high in the omega 3 fatty acids (such as mackerel, sardines, fresh tuna, salmon, trout and herring). Any fish that appears white (such as cod, haddock, flounder, tilapia etc) don't have the omega 3 fatty acids. There is a limit to no more than 2 portions per week for girls and women due to the amount of pollutants in the fish (such as high mercury levels). So eat in moderation (sorry I am a student dietitian lol)
