In ancient Egypt, men and women cover their hair with fruits and animal fats in order to restore the hair's moisture and hair shine. Experts say that hair needs moisture to restore hair’s shine, natural-oil and protein to put stay back it’s healthy and stay just fine! There are loads of treatments available in salons but they are quite expensive for monthly done. So here I give you some homemade treatments for damaged hair.
1. Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse
Apple cider vinegar helps to remove chemical build from hair and adds shine to hair. Pour 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar into 4 cups of water. Use this mixture for final rinse after you shampoo your hair. Dry the hair as normal and apple cider vinegar makes hair healthy. Use once in a week.
2. Banana and Avocado
Ripe banana and avocado are rich in moisture. Mash one ripe banana with avocado and make it into thick paste. Apply the hair pack over the dry hair and cover with shower cap. The fruits intensify the moisture in the hair and lock the moisture in. After 20 minutes wash the hair pack with a mild shampoo.
3. Mayonnaise for Hair
Mayonnaise can restore your hair moisture well. Apply the mayonnaise on your hair and leave it for 15 minutes. Wrap up your hair using a medium-hot towel. Then rinse the mayonnaise well using a mild shampoo and follows with your regular conditioner. You can apply mayonnaise once or twice a week to your hair.
4. Honey and Olive Oil
4 tsp of Olive oil and 1 tsp honey of money bring your hair back into game. Mix 4 spoons of olive oil with 1 spoon of honey and mix it well. Apply on to the hair and cover hair with a shower cap. Leave 20 to 25 minutes and wash the hair with mild shampoo.
5. Egg and Yogurt Mask
Yogurt and egg provides immense amount of protein nourishment to your hair. Eggs make your hair shiny and strong. If you don’t like the strong smell of eggs you can part the egg white separate and beat it well with 5 to 6 spoons of yogurt. Now apply the mixture all over the hair and cover with a shower cap. Leave on the treatment for 15 minutes and rinse hair with mild shampoo.
6. Thyme Water
If you have damaged hair with dandruff then try thyme. Add 8 to 7 tsp of dried thyme in 2 cups of water for about 10 minutes. Now stain the liquid and cool it. Apply the thyme water onto the scalp and massage it well. Store the thyme water for the other day use.
7. Honey Rinse
Mix 1 tsp of honey 4 cups of warm water and stir it well until the honey gets dissolved in the water without any traces. Now apply the honey water to hair and rinse with tap water. Honey gives great natural shine to hair.
