DIY Wednesday: 5 Homemade Face Packs for Summer

Hi Everyone!

Today in DIY Wednesday feature I’m going to share 5 homemade face packs for summer. These face packs are very effective for skin lightening and help to fight with acne conditioned skin. Also the face packs help to remove wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots. Face packs are totally a summer facial for your skin.

1. Lentil-Rice Face Pack:



Supplies:
  1. Lentil- 1
  2. Rice- 3 tablespoon
  3. Lemon drops

Method:
Soak the lentil with 3 tablespoon of rice in water over night and make it a fine paste next morning. Add few drops of lemon juice in the mixture and mix the ingredients well. If you have dry face you can add yogurt to the mixture additionally. Apply the mixture all over the face and neck. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes. Now scrub the face pack gently against the skin while washing. This acts as a great scrub for soft and glowing skin.

2. Mint Face Pack:

Supplies:
  1. Mint leaves- ½ cup
  2. Turmeric – ½ tablespoon

Method:
Take ½ cup of fresh mint leaves and make into a smooth paste. Now add ½ tablespoon of turmeric to the mint paste. Mix the both ingredients well and make into a smooth and fine paste. Apply the paste all over the face and neck. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it off. This face pack is essential for summer season.

3. Cucumber Face Pack:



Supplies:
  1. Cucumber juice- 3 tablespoon
  2. Carrot juice- 2 tablespoon

Method:
Mix the 3 spoons of cucumber juice with 2 spoons of fresh carrot juice. Mix the liquid well. Now using milk, cleanse your face for 3 minutes and milk helps to tone your skin. Now take the mixture and apply all over the face and neck. Apply the mixture repeatedly as it dries soon. Leave if for 30 to 25 minutes and wash it off. This face pack helps to hydrate the skin in summers.

4. Red Sandalwood Face Pack:

Supplies:
  1. Red sandalwood powder - 2 tablespoon
  2. Sandalwood powder- 1 tablespoon
  3. Rose water

Method:
Add the red sandalwood and sandalwood powder in a clean bowl. Add rose water to the powders until they turn into a fine paste. Now apply the face pack all over face and neck. Apply the mixture before you go to the bed, this helps to add coolness to your skin and relax your senses. Now leave the face pack for 30 to 25 minutes on. Wash it with lukewarm water and pat the skin dry.

5. Yogurt-Honey Face Pack:



Supplies:
  1. Honey- 1 tablespoon
  2. Yogurt- 1 tablespoon
  3. Lemon drops

Method:
Add honey and yogurt in a clean bowl and mix with well using a fork. Now add lemon drops to it. Mix using a fork and beat the mixture well. Apply the face pack well all over face, back and front neck. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash it off. Try this face pack in evening or morning time. it helps to cleanse the skin deep.
