Review, Swatch & FOTD : ELLE 18 Color Pops in Pomegranate Pie

Hey Everyone!

Today I’m reviewing one of my favorite shades ‘Pomegranate Pie’ from ELLE 18 Color Pops. This is a very pretty shade with pink undertones and this shade would look fabulous on all the skin tones!

Price: Rs.100 for 4.3ml

Claims:
  • Has cocoa butter

My Take on ELLE 18 Color Pops in Pomegranate Pie:

The Color pops comes in pretty similar packaging, so finding different shades would be little difficult, yet the shade/color name is printed on a label at the bottom of the each lipstick! I find the shade and packaging is very girly and I like it so much. The lipstick has very buttery and soft texture! It’s not at all waxy. And the lipstick has really strong cocoa butter fragrance! Really strong! I hardly have the lipstick on for 30 minutes; I couldn’t hold the lipstick bright any longer more than 30 to 40 minutes. I just wipe off with a tissue and I carry just the tint of the lipstick! I feel this much fragrance for a lipstick is bit weird!

Coming to the pigmentation part, the shade is decently pigmented. It spreads evenly over my slightly pigmented lips and gives a good glossy finish. The shade has medium to average coverage. Since it has cocoa butter, it doesn’t dry out the lips at all. Keeps lips hydrated for hours :) the staying power is for about 2 to 3 hours and leaves mild rosy tint on the lips. The lipstick is doing-so-good for the price and I
like it!
