Review : The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Shampoo

Hey Everyone!

Today I’m reviewing my current love/favorite shampoo, The Body Shop Moisture Shampoo. This shampoo is from my recent haul HERE. This is my first try over TBS hair care range!

Price: Rs.695 for 250ml

 Claims:
  • For dry and damaged hair
  • No silicones, no sulphates, no colorants and no parabens
  • Gently cleanses to moisturize and improve the hair’s softness without weighing it down
  • For smooth and shiny finish
  • With pracaxi oil, manketti nut oil and community fair trade honey

My Take on The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Shampoo:

I’m having a hair crisis! Lately my hair went limp, dry and itchy scalp due to over-dryness. I was looking for moisture restoring shampoo along with sulphate, parabens and silicone-free and I just picked one when I saw the moisture shampoo @TBS shop.

The shampoo comes in plastic bottle packaging with the transparent flip-top cap. I like the simple and neat packaging from the body shop! The shampoo is absolutely colourless. It has water-like consistency and mind blowing soft honey-kind-of fragrance! Oh My! I loved the fragrance from the first use onwards. The smell lingers on my hair more than a day or two. Then there I fell in love with this tall sleek bottle!!
Shampoo lathers very well and cleanses scalp very effectively than I thought. From the third use onwards the shampoo did worked best for me. It made my hair soft and relived my scalp from itchiness due to dryness! Also my hair fall reduced by 40% which occurred due to dryness (can you believe it!). I’m so satisfied with this shampoo. It provides me ultimate natural softness to myhair and clean scalp, which means my hair and scalp, feels healthy :)

On continues usage the shampoo helps to maintain the hair soft and it restores its moisture behind. Unlike the other drugstore shampoo, tbs moisture shampoo doesn’t rip out the natural oil/moisture from scalp/hair.

GOOD about The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Shampoo:
  1. No silicones, no sulphates, no colorants and no parabens
  2. Just a perfect shampoo for dry/damaged hair
  3. Removes excess oil effectively from hair and scalp
  4. Restores natural moisture of the hair and scalp
  5. Awesome fragrance and that lingers more than a day or two

NOT SO GOOD about The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Shampoo:
  1. Expensive but worth every penny
  2. If you are looking for a very shiny and silky hair, oh no! It’s not for you. This shampoo provides you natural soft healthy hair only

Overall Verdict:

This is one of the best shampoos I ever used in ages! It’s works best for dry and damaged hair. Also it gives ultimate clean scalp and soft hair. No sulphates, silicones and parabens. On top of it, the fragrance drive me like I’m on a roller-coaster; yes I do keep sniffing now and then, sometimes continuously ;)
