I’m fond of silk sarees very much but I own very few in number! (Because I wear very rarely) Though I’m not totally into sarees in general (I still love’em ^_^) I was so unaware about printed silks too. Earlier this year my super mom bought like 7 to 8 printed silk sarees and then I wore one for a simple occasion couple of months ago! I should say I fell in love with printed silks. So light-weight, soft and looked classy.
Okay now skipping to the main part, I would suggest bridezillas to try printed silks, no not for the D-Day but after the D-Day. I see women invest too much amount on saree trousseau. Anyhow for some reasons half on the collection goes down in few months after the marriage. Why don’t invest in printed silks. They don’t weigh heavy like kanchipuram silk ones or stone worked or embroidery etc. Just a thought!
I’m not very sure about the cost, the price range starts from Rs.1000, I guess.
Here are the printed silk picks from my wardrobe:
I hope you find the post useful and interesting! ^_^
