Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo + Oil 2 in 1 Review

I oil my hair regularly with my homemade bhringraj oil like twice a week, it helps to nourish hair well. I picked Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo + Oil 2 in 1 the other day and thought to give a try whenever I feel lazy to oil my hair.

Claims:
Shampoo cleans and strengthens the hair fibre
Gives smooth, shiny and healthy hair
Contains olive oil, shea oil and avocado oil

My Take on the Product:

The transparent bottle packaging is really attractive and shampoo smells pleasant with fruity hints. The shampoo is colourless and has runny consistency. I’m trying quite series of shampoos lately, will update each paralley with makeup reviews soon, and I must tell you this particular shampoo is in my favorite list. Shampoo lathers well, smells fruity and cleans scalp and hair effectively. Since this is a Shampoo + Oil combination I was sceptical about lathering quality but the shampoo lathers well from second wash. After drying, my hair feels fresh, scented and smooth. Shampoo didn’t weigh down my hair and the freshness lasts for a couple of days.

Shampoo claims it contains olive oil, shea oil and avocado oil, these really help to nourish hair greatly. SLS alert! Also the shampoo contains major percentage of sulphate.

On the whole if you don’t have any major hair problem issues, the shampoo is good for regular usage and suits all hair types. Since summer is approaching this shampoo helps to fight against scalp dryness for some extent!

Pros:
  • Conditions hair well
  • Has pleasant fragrance
  • Doesn’t make hair limp
  • Affordable and sturdy packaging
  • Good for regular use
  • Product claim it contains olive oil, shea oil and avocado oil
  • Leaves hair smooth and soft

Cons:
  • Contains SLS

Rating: 4/5

Price: Rs.117 for 200ml and Rs. 65 for 80ml

  7. I love this shampoo. And the smell is gorgeous. I dont use it because am a sulphate free girl. If you use sulphates then this is a great option. This bringa back memories of being in India :)
