Maybelline Clear Glow All in One Compact Review & FOTD

Compacts not just helps to set the makeup in place but also it helps to even tone the skin giving some boost to overall makeup look. I never miss compact on daily basis. Today I’m reviewing Maybelline Clear Glow all in compact which I’ve been using a lot lately!

Claims:
Instant fairness
UV protection, SPF 26/PA++
Smooth, even skin
Shine control
Clinically tested
Light weight, oil-free
Allergy tested
Non-comedogenic
Available in 5 shades

My Take on the Product:

Maybelline clear glow compact comes in pinkish rectangular packaging, and it’s very cute! The compact powder is very fine and light weight as mentioned. For my skin tone, 03 Natural is good shade match. It comes with a sponge/buffer applicator which isn’t much helpful. I use my powder brush to stamp the powder on, it blends in to the skin easily and it doesn’t cover any spots or blemishes. The compact powder isn’t buildable, it leaves white cast on over application.

Post application compact keeps skin oil-free for two plus hours only. My T-zone starts feeling oily after 3 hours of application. So I need to reapply for every 3 to 2.5 hours. It does adds some glow and brightens up the skin...It has SPF 26, that’s great for the price! For a comparison, I liked Maybelline White Stay UV compact very much, but Maybelline All in one compact is not as good as White Stay.

Pros:
  • Classy and attractive packaging
  • Contains SPF 26
  • Safe for sensitive skin
  • Light weight and gives matte look
  • Non-comedogenic

 Cons:
  • Doesn’t keep my skin oil-free after two plus hours
  • Not buildable
  • Leaves white cast when over used
  • Not suitable for oily skin

Rating: 3/5

Price: Rs.185 for 9g

Maybelline Clear Glow All in One Compact gives instant mattifying effect and very safe for sensitive skin, for the price and quality I find the compact is GOOD!
